This layered drawing is large. It measures about 4 feet wide X 8 feet tall. Ideally it is attached to the wall with a push pin and left to hang down off the wall. I used Masa Paper, the same Japanese synthetic paper I used for the smaller drawings. The paper comes in a roll. I waxed sheets of the paper with bleached bees wax. I nicknamed these pieces The Barnett Newman Series-Modernity at it's best. These works were made in 2005. This drawing can be viewed horizontally or vertically. The drawing is shown here in both orientations.
